2017年2月，聊城中院以故意伤害罪判处于欢无期徒刑；2017年6月，山东省高院二审公开宣判于欢刺死一人行为系防卫过当，改判为有期徒刑5年。
而于母苏银霞，于2016年12月因涉嫌经济犯罪被刑拘；2018年11月，因非法吸收公众存款罪，苏银霞被山东省高唐县人民法院一审判处有期徒刑3年，并处罚金人民币8万元；2019年2月，聊城中院维持原判。</blockquote>

2019年12月15日，红星新闻记者获悉，苏银霞于12月14日从山东省女子监狱出狱。出狱后次日，接受红星新闻记者采访时，苏银霞说，自己拖累了儿子，对儿子心怀愧疚，“希望儿子也能早日出狱，一家团聚。”

<strong style="-webkit-tap-highlight-color:transparent; box-sizing:border-box; font-weight:700">苏银霞：我是12月14日上午出狱的，是刑满释放，整整三年的刑期。我妈过来接我，见到我妈之后，心情很难受。

<strong style="-webkit-tap-highlight-color:transparent; box-sizing:border-box; font-weight:700">苏银霞：我是家里最先出狱的，儿子、女儿、丈夫都还在监狱里服刑。我想尽快把家里的路子铺好，先了解一下市场行情，把原来的工厂恢复过来，把之前欠的债务尽快还清，这都是我应该付出的。让儿子出来之后，能有个家的感觉，日子能有盼头。

<strong style="-webkit-tap-highlight-color:transparent; box-sizing:border-box; font-weight:700">苏银霞：因为我的事情影响了儿子，到现在我都接受不了。也是因为没有办法，才发生那样的情况。儿子年纪轻，他是实在容忍不了，所以冲动了。都是过去的事了，法律最终也还了我儿子一个公道，定性为防卫过当，从无期徒刑改判为5年有期徒刑。

<strong style="-webkit-tap-highlight-color:transparent; box-sizing:border-box; font-weight:700">苏银霞：我今年49岁了，在监狱待了几年后，头发都全白了，特别愁，不知道今后一家人的日子怎么过，心理压力特别大。

<strong style="-webkit-tap-highlight-color:transparent; box-sizing:border-box; font-weight:700">苏银霞：希望儿子不要有包袱，在监狱里要好好表现，家里的事他不操心，我现在已经出狱了，我会来处理。
