to be frankly, phone interview is really a bad idea for international student, especially if that could be your first local interview. I had two phone interviews last year, didn\'t do well. I guess I could do well this year though

anyway, unless u do have an outstanding listening and speaking, no matter what accent the interviewer might have (not a racist, but some indian accent is really difficult to understand), don\'t expect a good result from the phone interview.

not sure the situation about your field, but if u don\'t have local work experience (in that field), to get as many license as u can to help the job seeking.

i am not sure if there are many cantonese or hongkongnes companies here, but u can speak cantonese in many restaurants here.

not trying to make fun of u, but truely, never think about \"找工至少有个语言优势\", haha, what the hell r u thinking?
u will never have a cantonese interview in here, I don\'t think u can do that in toronto either. u r a master, show them your knowledge , ability, and license (after u get them) !

要是哪个MASTER都能找到工作就没有自杀的双博士了
为了移民而去COLLEGE没什么不对的
如果暂时找不到专业工作去COLLEGE是明智的选择
毕竟半年内没工作要回国的
朋友的朋友，拿的是机械工程的MASTER
去了CALGARY后看到WPG有工作就马上坐飞机回来面试了
（大概也是英语不佳吧）

建议楼主找银行的工作，跟经济比较相关。如果你有mutual fund的证书，就可以做办公室的financial service了。而且你会讲广东话，也算是优势的。移民公司都很贵的，金桥是10000美金帮找工作，但也应该不是百分之百的。个人意见，如果移民公司可以帮你找到工作，就说明，你本人有这个能力。good luck!
