GENERAL MANAGER
The Winnipeg Industrial Skills Training Centre Inc. is a Winnipeg based non-profit training organization preparing students for jobs in welding and metal fabrication. For the past 28 years, the Centre has provided students with trade skills and job placement services, utilizing a combination of theoretical classroom teaching and practical experience in our in-house production facility.
The Centre is seeking a capable and self-motivated individual to fill the position of General Manager. The position involves overall leadership and direction of the Centre, development and maintenance of working relationships with external agencies including funding representatives and partners or clients in industry, as well as reporting to the Board of Directors.
The candidate should have broad-based Management experience with demonstrated competencies in:
- administration
- budget development/financial management
- human resource development & management
- effective team building
- effective verbal & written communication
- program development and implementation
- computer literacy
A university level degree is also desired. The candidate must possess a valid driver's license and a suitable vehicle for transportation when offsite activities take place.
